How to design, edit, and export in Vinsia Studio.

Getting started

Vinsia Studio runs in your browser - no account, nothing uploaded. Start designing to create a project, or browse templates for a specific layout or frame. Start designing Templates

Two ways to start

Pick a layout first - choose a grid, an optional frame, and a name. The canvas opens with empty photo slots.

Take photos first - capture or upload as many as you like, then pick a layout. They drop into the slots in order; extras still land on the canvas. Take your photos first

The toolbar

Undo/redo, duplicate/delete, group/ungroup, layer order, alignment, zoom, layers panel, shortcuts, dark mode, and export.

To zoom the canvas (not the page), hold Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) and scroll, or pinch on a trackpad.

Adding content

The left panel has one tab per tool:

  • Photos - drag & drop, upload, or use your webcam. New photos fill the next empty slot.
  • Frames - swap or remove the overlay anytime.
  • Text, Shapes, Stickers, Emoji - click to add, then drag, resize, or rotate.
  • Draw - freehand brush with color and size controls.
  • QR Code - turn a link or text into a scannable code.
  • Date - stamp today's date or time.

Layers & history

The Layers tab lists every object, top first. Drag to reorder, or use the eye/lock/delete icons. Undo/redo cover the whole editor.

Filters

Select a photo, then use the Edit tab for presets (Vintage, Retro, Kodak, Fuji, Film, Black & White) or manual brightness, contrast, exposure, saturation, temperature, hue, and blur. Presets and manual adjustments combine.

Exporting

Export from the toolbar: PNG, JPG, WEBP, SVG, or PDF, a resolution (Low/Medium/High), and an optional transparent background. Projects with more than one photo can download a ZIP with every photo plus the final design.

Privacy & storage

Projects save automatically to your browser (IndexedDB) - nothing is sent anywhere. Recently captured/uploaded photos are a temporary cache that clears itself after a few days.

Shortcuts

Open the keyboard icon in the toolbar for the full list.
